Morning Warming Latte

1 tablespoon almond butter
2 teaspoons coconut sugar
2 teaspoons coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon astragalus
1/2 teaspoon reishi
1 tablespoon tocos
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 pinch sea salt
couple of grinds of black pepper
1 cup boiling water

Place all ingredients into a powerful blender and whip up until smooth and frothy.  Enjoy!

Reishi helps with immune function, stress release and protects the body against environments factors.

Nutmeg has potassium which is good for heart rate and blood pressure control as well as zinc and iron.

Cardamom helps with digestion, detoxification, and depression.

Clove is wonderful for oral health, cold and flu, blood pressure and is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent.

Black pepper helps prevent asthma, improves digestion and skin care and cognitive ability, and has an antibacterial quality.

Cinnamon lowers blood sugar, reduces es heart disease risk factors helps with metabolism and skin issues.

Turmeric has strong anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

All of this with a wonderful dose of protein from the almond butter – I prefer raw.

This is a drink and a snack and offers warming qualities and satiation while healing our bodies.
